Lago di Castreccioni

Lake Castreccioni, also known as Lake Cingoli, is an artificial reservoir created by damming the River Musone in the 1980s. Its inlets follow the contours of the hills and open up views across the water, woodland and uplands of the Marche hinterland.

Accessible areas along the shores offer opportunities for a walk and a pause in the landscape. Water activities and services depend on individual operators and the season: to plan your day, check availability and local conditions. The marker identifies an access area by the lake.
