Quartiere La Giudea e Museo Ebraico

La Giudea preserves the memory of the Jewish community that has been part of Fondi’s history. Amidst the narrow streets, courtyards and houses of the historic centre, the neighbourhood offers a different perspective on the town, linked to trade, crafts and the coexistence of its communities.

The walk can be rounded off with a visit to the Jewish Museum, when open, to explore the evidence of this presence in greater depth. It is a route best taken whilst paying close attention to the residential areas, without mistaking the historic neighbourhood for an open-air museum exhibition.
