Lago di Fondi

Lake Fondi is a coastal lake situated within the Monti Ausoni and Lake Fondi Regional Nature Park. Its waters, reed beds and wetlands form a landscape distinct from that of the nearby beaches and are home to various species of birds.

It is a destination for nature watching and learning about the ecosystems of the plain. Not all parts of the shoreline are freely accessible: when choosing observation points and routes, it is advisable to consult the park authority and check for authorised activities, whilst respecting the vegetation and wildlife.
