Basilica Cattedrale di Gaeta

Gaeta Cathedral is situated in the medieval district of Sant’Erasmo, near the sea. The bell tower, visible amongst the rooftops of the old town, and the liturgical furnishings preserved in the basilica offer an insight into the long history of the mother church of the archdiocese.

A visit can be combined with a stroll through Piazza Duomo, the streets of the town centre and the seafront.
